Al Ghurair Iron & Steel is the GCC region’s largest flat steel rolling and hot-dip galvanizing complex, situated strategically in Abu Dhabi’s Industrial City (ICAD), Mussafah. This 500,000 TPA facility primarily serves the construction, fabrication, and non-automotive industries in the MENA region and beyond. Established in 2009, AGIS is a joint venture between the Al Ghurair Group of the UAE and Japan’s Nippon Steel Corporation.
The facility comprises a Semi-continuous Pickling Line, a 6-Hi Reversing Cold Rolling Mill, and two continuous galvanizing lines. The brand is well-established due to its high product quality enabling it to serve customers in more than 20 countries worldwide.
